Devotional
God invites you to join Him in His holy Sanctuary so that you may receive His grace and peace in the fullest measure, through the knowledge of God and Christ Jesus your Lord (2 Peter 1:2).
Sanctuary Affirmations
The following Scriptures are words of worship, praise, and thanksgiving taken from the Holy Bible. They are affirmations of faith written in the 1st person. As you speak them slowly and silently, meditate on the words and phrases that grab your attention. By keeping these words close to your heart and mind, you will keep the Christian doctrine in perspective as to who God is–a Living God, through your personal relationship with Christ Jesus.
All you have to do is envision entering your sacred Sanctuary and experience God’s presence as He holds you, enveloping you in His loving arms as He rocks you in His big rocking chair. In your child-likeness you look up to Him, reading the affirmations to Him, confirming your love to Him, dedicating your life to Him, seeking His will, and calling Him Abba Father.
I encourage you to develop your intimate relationship with God and worship of Him by meditating on the following Affirmations of the Christian Faith while alone in your Sanctuary with Him as you will learn to do in chapter 5. As you do, you will feel the presence of your loving, living, Holy God, and you will be blessed!
